Features of Marugoto Vegan Dining Asakusa
■ What kind of restaurant is it?
Located just a 1-minute walk from Asakusa Station, our restaurant is a vegan dining spot near the bustling streets of Senso-ji Temple. Despite the central location, it sits along a quiet riverside lined with cherry blossoms.
Around 80–90% of our guests are from overseas, and each of them brings their own diverse dietary preferences. Many say, “We’re so glad this restaurant exists. Thank you so much!!” and leave with a big smile.
■ What we value
Vegan food and lifestyle are kind to both our bodies and the planet. At Marugoto Vegan, we not only serve gentle and delicious meals, but we also provide warm hospitality, a cozy atmosphere, and an experience that leaves our guests feeling cared for and uplifted.
■ What we want to deliver: “Wellness Vegan”
We prepare all our meals from scratch using only plant-based ingredients, without food additives or white sugar, to offer tasty, healthy homemade dishes and joyful dining experiences.
All dishes served at our restaurant are gluten-free, free from pungent vegetables (such as onion and garlic), and alcohol-free. This way, we can meet a wide range of dietary needs.
First, be kind to yourself. Then to animals. And finally, to the planet.
That’s the “Wellness Vegan” lifestyle we want to share.
■ Dog-friendly
We welcome dogs! Guests often bring their pets, and our owner’s fluffy Samoyed also visits the restaurant. If you love dogs, you’ll feel right at home here.

About the owner
After about 10 years in the IT industry, the owner transitioned to being a yoga instructor, supporting clients with diet and wellness advice. Through that journey, she became vegan and opened the restaurant a year later.
In her teens and twenties, she traveled widely, enjoying meeting people around the world. Now, she offers the same hospitality to international visitors who come to Japan.
Mission & Philosophy
Vegan food and lifestyle are kind to our bodies and the Earth. Our goal is not only to provide delicious vegan meals, but also warm hospitality and a cozy space where every guest can leave with a smile.
In particular, for the many vegan and food-diverse tourists visiting Asakusa, we want to offer安心 (peace of mind) and joyful meals, while sharing local information to make their stay in Japan easier and more enjoyable.
Our mission is to spread Healthy Vegan—not only kind to animals and the planet, but also nurturing and healing for ourselves.
